Words can inspire, and words can destroy. Choose yours well.

Olympics medalist Shawn Johnson.

I watched a 7-minute youtube video of Shawn called I AM SECOND.

In the video, she explained how she felt at 16 years old winning the silver instead of the gold medal in the gymnastics competition.

When she was given the silver the judge whispered "I'm sorry" which was very confusing to a young athlete like her. The reason he said that is because Shawn was predicted to win the gold that year.

Now she knew for sure she was a disappointment to the USA and everyone around her. It took her years to get over it.

Can you imagine being one of the chosen few to go to the Olympics in the first place, then someone that won a medal only to feel they are a huge disappointment?
