What Should I Be Series Featuring Melanie and Isabelle Drain

Ep 64: What Should I Be Series Featuring Melanie and Isabelle Drain

In this episode Patricia interviews her two granddaughters Melanie and Isabelle Drain in her final episode of her May series, what should I be when I grow up? Melanie, a sophomore in college, and Isabelle, a senior in high school answer questions about their passions and how they want to develop them into careers.

She has had the pleasure of watching them grow into two bright young women and love their perspectives as being a part of Generation Z. She asks about their personalities as children, the first time they thought about their future, and what they are passionate about today. Being so young, the girls agree that they are still very much in their journeys of finding their core passions. However, they do believe it is important to investigate their childhoods and early interests to find what they are truly passionate about.

In the end, Patricia summarizes 3 Golden Nuggets she took from the girls.

1.     You can change your mind about what you love.

2.     Be observant of your childhood.

3.     Observe your interests, they are clues to your core passions.
